THE 20TH AUSTRALASIAN DATA MINING CONFERENCE 2022 (AUSDM’22)

Western Sydney, Australia, 12 - 15 December 2022

Call for Doctoral Registration Awards

This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Australasian Data Mining Conference, and we have an exciting line-up to celebrate this milestone. As such, we are delighted to announce that there will be ten grants for students for free registration of non-author students, specifically for students going to the doctoral and/or the women in data mining/AI session. The conference is planned to be an in-person event in Western Sydney.

Application

Please provide us with a brief explanation of why you should be one of the students who will be awarded these grants. You can do this by emailing us directly at vithya.yogarajan@auckland.ac.nz or by including it in your submission. If your submission is accepted for the doctoral consortium, you will automatically be considered for one of the ten grants. The quality of your submission will play a prominent role in the final decision, along with your brief explanation.

The doctoral consortium (DC) of AusDM 2022 aims to provide PhD students with the opportunity to receive feedback on their research (from established researchers in their fields); interact closely with other researchers and PhD students. The doctoral consortium will be held on the same day as the industry, government, and special session days. Apart from extra feedback, we hope to provide students with new contacts and professional networking opportunities.

The submission deadline for DC has been extended to the 15th of October. Please refer to the submission page for details on submissions. The submission to DC can also be a work in progress.
